A recently retired Air Force senior leader, Wes brings over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, risk management, and financial innovation across defense and national security to Principal Mineral. At the Department of Defense, he founded the Office of Strategic Capital, the first federal credit program designed to attract private capital for national security priorities. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer for AFWERX, advancing innovative financing to strengthen domestic supply chains and emerging technologies. Wes also served as a White House Fellow and as a Military Aide to the President.
